Richard McSwain is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Construction Law with twenty years of experience in the commercial, industrial, power production and oil and gas segments of the market. He is proficient in the management of available resources with proven success as a litigator and contract negotiator. Richard leads our corporate-wide risk management program to enhance and protect the assets of the Company through risk management strategies.

During his tenure, James served as Senior Project Manager on many of Bartlett Cocke General Contractors’ largest and most complex projects. Today, James serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and provides strategic leadership by working with the Board and other management to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. James has proven to be a resolute decision-maker, change agent, and business leader.

Kevin Byrd joined Bartlett Cocke General Contractors in 2003 as a Project Manager and has consistently progressed in position and responsibility. He achieves success through developing strong partnerships and building rapport with clients, architects, engineers and the members of his project teams.
