December 1, 2025- Houston, TX- Bartlett Cocke General Contractors proudly announces the
promotion of Matt Bragg to Vice President of Operations, Houston, which also encompasses the
Bryan/College Station area.

An employee-owner with nearly 20 years of industry experience, including the past 16 years
with Bartlett Cocke, Bragg has built a distinguished career leading successful projects across
higher education, healthcare, K–12, and commercial markets. His leadership and operational
expertise have contributed to projects for major organizations such as the Texas A&M University
System, the University of Texas System, Texas State University, CHRISTUS Health, Santikos
Enterprises, Northside ISD, Broadway National Bank, and others.

Most recently serving as Project Executive, Bragg was recognized in 2024 as the first-ever
recipient of the Bartlett Cocke Pinnacle Award, honoring his outstanding leadership, integrity,
and embodiment of the company’s core values.

Bragg holds both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Texas State University and
served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S Army for nearly 25 years, as well as taught
Construction Science courses at Texas State University.

As Vice President of Operations, he will oversee regional operations in the Houston and Bryan–
College Station markets, advancing Bartlett Cocke’s mission of Building Better Lives through
quality, collaboration, and community-focused construction.
