This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Under supervision, this position performs basic construction tasks.

Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is currently seeking a Carpenter Helpers to join our team in Houston and College Station areas! The Carpenter Helper assists the carpenters on the construction site. This role assists with tasks such as repairing, constructing, or dismantling wooden/metal/concrete objects on construction jobsites. The position must be able to identify a variety of hand tools, power tools and equipment. This position will also keep work areas clean when needed and prepare material and sites for the work activity.

Senior Superintendent - Greater Houston
Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is currently seeking a Superintendent to join our East Texas Regional team in the Greater Houston, TX area!
**$20,000 Signing Bonus available to East Texas Senior-level Superintendents hired on or before October 31st**
The Superintendent will manage, and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, sub-contractor and supplier coordination and work in conjunction with the Project Manager leading the project team to maintain project duration while obtaining anticipated profit. The superintendent also supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the field personnel, sub-contractors, and assistant superintendents.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
– Planning:
- Develop Construction Sequence & Schedule at job start-up and maintain schedule during project.
- Plan and supervise Assistant Superintendent and/or craft personnel activities - including determining method of construction, efficient manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary facilities, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.
- Understand project estimate and project budget.
- Reviews submittals prior to installation of work.
- Understand sub-contractor and supplier contract scopes and participate in buyout

VDC Manager - East Texas
Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is currently seeking a VDC Manager to join our team in Houston, TX! The VDC Manager is responsible for assisting the Estimating, BIM/VDC, Preconstruction and Operations teams in the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methodologies. The VDC Manager proactively drives and leads the implementation of BIM/VDC technologies on large-scale construction projects during the pre-construction and estimating phase as well as supports field operations for trade coordination as needed. The VDC Manager must have solid and demonstrated working knowledge in construction methods and practices, process flow and business aspects of construction, as well as BIM/VDC concepts. The position requires a self-motivated individual that intuitively recognizes constraints and opportunities and can adaptively implement Building Information Modeling on construction projects. The VDC Manager reports to the Regional VDC Manager and is a vital member of the Preconstruction staff.
