A News Station Worthy Of Media

The KSAT 12 TV News Station headquarters was looking a bit long in the tooth until we were asked to build for them a fresh face. The project was part expansion and part renovation. We had to make new what was old and reimagine what couldn’t be saved. Demolition work is always a challenge. Asking yourself how far you should go and identifying what can be salvaged and renovated is a task that requires patience, communication, and expertise.

The Details

At KSAT, we ended up demolishing 16,000 square feet of their existing headquarters. We also identified 16,000 square feet that could be renovated and improved upon to accommodate the 15,000 square feet of additions we were tasked with building. The headquarters never looked better. With the help of the architecture firm LPA Inc., we’ve built something much greater than the sum of its parts. It’s cohesive, it’s innovative, and it was built with as little waste as possible.
